Spelling - Week 6
A downloadable version of our weekly spelling lists will now be posted on our class website every Monday (of full school weeks only). We are currently running a levelled spelling program in grade 4, so please check in with your child to ensure that they are practicing the correct list - we have been working in these groups for quite a few weeks now, so everyone should be confident in knowing what group they are in. If there is any confusion as to what list your child has been assigned, feel free to contact me personally and I will gladly share that information with you.
Also; a reminder that Spelling City is always accessible online for spelling lists as well as additional practice of both spelling and associated vocabulary of assigned words. Weekly spelling lists are updated online at https://www.spellingcity.com/ every Monday. Spelling City is a great resource for practicing the spelling and vocabulary components of assigned word lists through interactive games and activities. You are also able to print comprehensive lists and practice sheets from the site if you would prefer pencil and paper practice or do not have consistent access to the internet. Students are only able to view and practice the list that has been assigned specifically to them using this resource. For access to Spelling City, please reference the password card on the inside cover of your child's agenda. If you are having troubles logging on to Spelling City, the downloadable spelling lists are also posted below for your convenience. As always, if you have any questions or are encountering any difficulties regarding spelling lists (or otherwise!), please don't hesitate to contact me!
